Aftermath

Hanthelia
News

The reason for the earthquakes was finally revealed when Deathwing rose from his prison and tore Azeroth asunder. There was much turmoil. Many people lost their homes and town were wiped away and destroyed. The members of Lost Order had been scattered around as it all happened and now guild master Shakku invited them all to Darnassus. It was time to find out what had happened to everyone.

Effex, Hanthelia, Valur, Goasse and Bloxie met at the Pilgrim’s Bounty feast. It was nice to find out that most of the guild was indeed fine. They had been helping other people, healing and rebuilding. The living of Goasse’s stepfather as a fisherman had ended when Loch Modan dried. Hantitia’s parents’ house was destroyed along with the park in Stormwind. Luckily, Titi’s tailoring shop staid unharmed.

There had of course been lots of refugees around, but some of them came from a place that had been isolated until recently, Gilneas. Only, there was something strange with the people of Gilneas. Effex and Hanthelia had already noticed it and so they brought their friends to see for themselves. The Howling Oak in Darnassus served as a refugee center. It didn’t take long for the others to notice that the Gilneans were a little hairier than normal humans…

Lost Order decided to meet again soon, since things were still so up in the air. It’s times like these that you need your friends.

Strange Developments

Hanthelia
News

Lost Order received a report from Ysildiel, who had come across Goasse and Valur. The friends were making their way to Outland, as planned, and Ysildiel noticed that a group was following them. That group was later killed, but Goasse and Valur arrived in Outland safely. Still, it seemed strange to Ysildiel and he came to Ironforge to further explain the situation to the guild. Lost Order had gathered to Ironforge invited by Ymkje, Goasse’s wife.

Effex, Hanea, Shakku and Razzil were surprised by both Ymkje and Ysildiel’s stories. Ymkje was worried about her husband. She hadn’t heard about him in a while, but Ysildiel’s story reassured her a little. However, there was another matter. She had received a letter from Doede, telling Goasse to go to Gnomeregan and meet him there. The letter didn’t tell much more. It was clear to the guild that they would escort Ymkje there and find out what was happening.

They searched for a while, but eventually came across a death knight. He was the mysterious Doede. It seemed that he wanted no harm. He had actually sent the group reported by Ysildiel trying to reach Goasse. Doede wanted to give Goasse an amulet found inside Gnomeregan. It was from his parents. There had been several missions to Gnomeragan in the gnome’s trying to recapture their hometown and in one of those missions, Doede had found the amulet. He was able to figure out, who it had belonged to and track down Goasse. Ymkje received the amulet and was pleased to be able to give it to Goasse.

Defderien’s Tragedy

Hanthelia
News

After not showing up to fish at Loch Modan, Defderien sent a letter to the guild. Effex delivered the letter, which was an invitation to Deffy’s newly acquired cottage in Duskwood. Defderien was still wanting to get re-acquainted with his daughter. He was pleased to see that quite a few members of Lost Order showed up.

Shakku, Effex, Valur, Barwin, Goasse, Aargon and Äisha were offered some boar Deffy had caught and cooked for his guests. Effex brought some wine. Defderien was also pleased to notice how sympathetic his new friends were to his situation. The Losties told him things about his daughter, Hanthelia. He learned that she had become a huntress and that she even had a daughter – Defderien was now a grandfather! Everyone was certain that Hanthy would want to know her father was alive again and that she wouldn’t blame him for the past.

Aargon and Äisha’s story of their reunion gave Defderien hope for the future. Although Äisha wasn’t accepted with the kaldorei either, she seemed quite happy with the current situation of being together with his beloved huband. Defderien had made up his mind. He would contact his daughter. Shakku was going to help to organize this, since the matter was delicate.
