Sparring with Peace Keepers

Hanthelia
News

Lost Order was invited to Darnassus to learn one on one combat techniques from a guild called Peace Keepers. Shakku, Valur, Goasse, Hanthelia and Effex met them by the gate to the city. Peace Keepers seemed very organized… Some members of Lost Order were a bit surprised by their “efficient” way of doing things. There was no time for introductions or pleasantries.

Each Lostie was paired with a Peace Keeper and sent to train with them one on one. It was interesting to learn more about the military guild and how they trained. Effex didn’t feel comfortable with the training he got from Shinodan, but they found a common ground eventually. Hanthy was intrigued to learn about pressure points and other close combat tips from Rhianna, although Rhi’s methods of teaching were a bit more cold and formal than what Hanthy was used to.

After a little training, the two guilds gathered together and paired up again. This time the Peace Keepers wanted to see what the Losties had learned. Some of the friends did better than the others. Valur’s strength was praised and Hanthy was said to have good techniques. Goasse had trouble at first, but later proved his skills, whereas poor Shakku fell on his face. Luckily, the guild master was the only one, who got a little injured by the sparring.

In conclusion, the evening was interesting and Lost Order wished to see Peace Keepers again, but maybe in a little less formal situation of having a pint together. Thank you for the sparring, Peace Keepers!

Dwarven Issues

Hanthelia
News

Goasse was helping the dwarves with several things, but the most recent issue was the rescue mission of the king’s daughter. There were different sides in the matter and Goasse wanted to hear what his fellow Losties had to say about it. Hanthelia, Effex, Valur and Shakku met him at Morgan’s Vigil, Burning Steppes.

The friends listened to Goasse’s thoughts in the matter. He was interested in brining peace to the dwarves. Effex and Shakku thought it would be too big a task. Hanthy and Valur saw the rescuing of the dwarf princess as the most crucial issue. The friends decided to start from there and see where that would lead to. Princess Moira was said to be kept a prisoner deep inside Blackrock Depths.

They entered the huge cave and made their way in. Effex lead the group deep inside, all the way to the emperor’s hall. There were many Dark Iron dwarves, who tried to stop the group, but eventually they beat the emperor and found the princess. Only, the princess didn’t need or want to be rescued… She was in love with the emperor and pregnant with their child. The issues with the dwarves were even more complicated than Lost Order had thought. Goasse had no choice but to return to king Magni with this news.

Operation Search and Rescue

Hanthelia
News

It was now clear, the guild master had gone missing. And on top of Shakku’s disappearance, his apprentice, Donald, was also nowhere to be found. Hanthelia had talked to Donald’s mother and she was worried, until Hanthy convinced her that Lost Order was going to find them. Nandy had organised an operation to find and rescue the master and his apprentice. Losties were supposed to come to Light’s Hope Chappel in Eastern Plaguelands and there they were divided into groups. Daidalos, Hantitia and Nuenein left in the first group to search the east side of Stratholme. Hanthy and Effex were to search the west side.

They had just passed through the gate into the village of Plaguewood when they noticed someone riding towards them. Hanthelia thought the man looked familiar… When she heard his voice telling them to leave, she was certain: it was Shakku! But what was he wearing? The outfit was nothing like he would normally wear… It was too colourless. And why was he telling Effex and Hanthy to leave? Shakku didn’t seem to recognise them. After a while of trying to make him snap out of it, they noticed that Shakku was getting orders from someone and it seemed like that someone was the horse he was riding! Effex sneaked behind Shakku while Hanthy was trying get some sense into him. Once there, Effex distracted him while Hanthy kicked her cousin in the stomach. Shakku fell from the horse and the horse ran away. And he was back.

Shakku didn’t remember anything from the last few weeks and was very disappointed to realise he had missed Brewfest. It was strange. He had been fighting in Stratholme, trying to free the people and then blanked. It was obvious he had been posessed by something… After they had sorted the events out as clearly as they could and Hanthy had given her cousin a tight hug, the friends realised that Donald was still missing. Shakku didn’t remember what had happened to him… They decided to re-group and get some more people in. They would enter Stratholme and search it thoroughly. First, Shakku wanted to go to Nandy…

Valdoran and Goasse joined the group the next day. The friends released lots of spirits while searching the area thoroughly. They entered buildings and tried to call out for Donald, in case he was hiding somewhere. In the end, they even fought baron Rivendale and took him down, but there was still no sign of Donald. The baron wouldn’t answer their questions and the woman he was keeping as a hostage hadn’t seen anything either. Losties decided that Donald must have escaped when Shakku was captured. He had been taught well, so he should manage on his own. Hopefully, he would turn up soon.

Harvest Feast

Hanthelia
News

Nandy, Effex and Hanthelia met each other at the Harvest Festival in Ironforge. They were surprised that none of the other Losties showed up, but it didn’t really matter. There was more of the feast to go around without them! However, while they were eating and talking, the talk turned to Shakku. None of them had heard from him in a while… Nandy and Hanthelia started to worry, but Effex thought it was nothing. Hanthy and Nandy agreed that most likely he was just celebrating the Brewfest and had forgotten all about his obligations to the guild. While Nandy was in the ladies’ room, someone came looking for Lost Order.

The old man was ranting on about his son and asking the people of Lost Order where his son was. Hanthy and Effex were confused until Hanthy realised it was Shakku’s father, Seiku. He seemed to have realised the relation he had towards Hanthelia, but it didn’t seem to matter to him. Still, it turned out that Seiku was supposed to meet his son a while ago, but he never showed up. Hanthy promised to look into it and after some more unpleasantries, Seiku left.

Now Hanthy got really worried and so did Nandy, once she heard what had happened while she was gone. They talked it over and based on what Nandy remembered from the last time she had seen Shakku, they thought he might be found somewhere in the Plaguelands. He was still on his mission to free the souls of Stratholme. But first, they wanted to make sure Shakku wasn’t just celebrating… Hanthy went to contact Shakku’s apprentice, Donald, and Nandy decided to check up on their mutual friends. They were going to find the missing guild master!
