Feathermoon in Feralas

Ambassador Hanthelia was visiting Feathermoon in Feralas. She was impressed with the work Shandris Feathermoon was doing there and invited her friends to see the place for themselves. Valur, Goasse, Shakku and Effex arrived to Feathermoon and were introduced to Shandris before seeing the army of Sentinels and their practise grounds.

The ambassador was particularly pleased with Shandris taking the worgen in and training with them. It was nice to see the new friends of the Alliance participating. Lost order was impressed with the operation as well. The army was quite sizeable.

Naturally, Hanthelia had also organized something fun for the evening. The friends made their way into the forest for a campsite. They sat by the bonfire and talked about the recent events in their lives. Shakku was nice enough to grill some sausages and his cousin served the friends some tea and cake.

A good time was had by all!

Long Lost…

After his recent issues with the guards of Stormwind City, Effex had spent more time in Darnassus. While being there, he had gotten involved with the trouble in Gilneas and helped out the new friends of the Alliance. During battle, he stumbled across a familiar face and soon realised there were a couple of worgen he had to introduce to Lost Order. Ymkje and Goasse came to the Slaughtered Lamb, where Effex met them in a disguise (he didn’t want to be noticed by any guards). Ayamei and Donaldus sailed to Stormwind City from Darnassus where they had been refugees with other worgens. Lots of worgen had already left Darnassus, wanting to find their place in the world, but these two were coming home…

After answering Gogo and Ymkje’s questions about being a worgen, Ayamei told her story. There had been a couple of big tragedies in her life. After the death of her family (as far as she had known) at a young age, she had been raised by sailor merchants. Ayamei had ended up in Gilneas after a shipwreck and because of the walls, she wasn’t allowed to leave there… After a while, she managed to climb over, but ended up going back in after rescuing Donaldus. The two of them became best friends while Aya nurtured Donny back to health. It didn’t take long after they realised they had a friend in common and it was this friend that they came to find in Stormwind. Effex had recognised Donny. Although older, it wasn’t hard notice the features of Shakku’s apprentice. Effex had been part of the search party when the boy went missing.

It was a surprise to even Effex when he realised who Ayamei was, though. Most of Lost Order knew of the fate of Shakku’s sister. But no one had known the truth – Ayamei lived and had come back home in hopes of being reunited with her family. When the story had been told to Ymkje and Goasse, Donny had to leave to go to his mother, who had not yet found out about her son being alive after all. It would be a happy reunion. After he left, Shakku finally arrived.

At first he didn’t recognise Aya, since she had been only six years old when she had “died”. But after a little help from his friends, the guild master realised the facts. He was overwhelmed by the happiness of seeing his sister alive, but also the sadness of her being a worgen now. Again, his friends convinced him of the actual situation with the worgens. Shakku relaxed when he realised the curse was under control. The sister and brother will have a lot of catching up to do. There was one thing they already noticed they had in common – they both liked to drink.

Beach Party in Tanaris

Effex invited Lost Order to Tanaris to spend an evening on the beach. He had planned all kinds of fun for his friends. The evening started with a barbeque.

Hanthelia, Valur, Goasse and Shakku were drooling after the goodies Effy grilled for them. The feast included meat and fish along with a couple of good wines. Everyone had dressed for the occasion and the weather was lovely.

In relation to the dessert, Effex had gotten Hanthy’s help. The pair had baked a couple of cakes. Hanthy’s cake was perfect on the first go, but Effy had to make his several times. In the end, Hanthelia had to watch every step Effex took in baking the cake. The cake turned out fine after no rocket fuel had been added to the mix… Effy had also brought a sample of the ale he had just acquired quite a few cases of. He was planning on selling it and wanted his friends’ opinion about it. Everyone liked it, Shakku especially (but then again, why wouldn’t he?).

After all the food, Effex suggested that they’d play a game. He had also acquired some deepstone oil potion and gave some to his friends. The idea was to make a silly pose and freeze into that position with the help of the potion. The poses were funny! Effex was the judge and after a few rounds, he decided on a winner. Hanthy’s poses won Effy over.

The evening ended with a fireworks display by Effex. Everyone found it awesome. What a lovely evening!

Happy Winter’s Veil and New Year!

This year was no exception to Lost Order’s tradition of celebrating Winter’s Veil together. This time the friends gathered together on the top of Ironforge. The scenery was awesome. Goasse and Valur brought wine and cheese whereas Hanthelia had prepared fish for her friends. Shakku and Effex brought holiday cheer.

Hantitia had remembered her friends in the guild and made everyone red winter clothes. Her big sister delivered the presents and they were received well. Everyone tried theirs on right away! Hanthelia had another surprise. She had acquired a new pet, a fox called Scarlett. And there was a special treat. Since Scarlett was already grown up and trained, she knew tricks, like dancing. The Losties joined in.

The evening was lovely. The friends talked about what their year had been like and, encouraged by the very drunk guild master Shakku, revealed to each other something that no one else knew. These secrets cannot be repeated here, since they were spoken in confidence. While the friends were watching the sun set, they noticed another fox. He came to say hi and sniff Scarlett. There were others on the mountain as well and the fox belonged to them. Lost Order wished them happy Winter’s Veil and soon they were on their way to celebrate the season with their families.

Happy Winter’s Veil to Everyone and All the Best for the New Year!

Effex’ Trouble

It didn’t take long before the guild was called up for another meeting. This time, Effex needed to see the others. Hantitia, Shakku, Valur, Goasse and Bloxie made their way to the outskirts of Stormwind City. Naturally, they didn’t find Effex, but he found the others. For some reason, Effex lead the others to somewhere a bit more quiet and was on the lookout the entire time. His reasons were soon revealed.

Effex took different kind of jobs and one of them was working as a guard to the Cenarion Circle. Recently, he had been escorting the Circle while they were attacked by a group of humans. He and the other guards managed to fight them off, but not without casualties. Later, Effex found out that one of the casualties had been the son of a nobleman. As unfair as it may seem, the nobleman found out the people responsible for the death of his son and saught revenge. He made the officials think that Effex was plotting against the king of Stormwind and wanting to assassinate him. It was true that Effex had been asked to do such a deed on several occasions (by assorted lunatics), but he hadn’t accepted. And so Effex had to go in to exile.

Effex showed his friends the hiding place he had in the mountains. He was planning to stay there until there was no bounty on his head anymore. Titi would have wanted to contact his older sister, the ambassador, and get Effex’ reputation cleared, but the others seemed to think that with all the current turmoil, this incident would soon be forgotten. Even so, Effex trusted his favourite swords in the care of a skilled warrior, Goasse, for the time being. The guild members offered to help Effex in any way they could and wished him safety.

The reason for the earthquakes was finally revealed when Deathwing rose from his prison and tore Azeroth asunder. There was much turmoil. Many people lost their homes and town were wiped away and destroyed. The members of Lost Order had been scattered around as it all happened and now guild master Shakku invited them all to Darnassus. It was time to find out what had happened to everyone.

Effex, Hanthelia, Valur, Goasse and Bloxie met at the Pilgrim’s Bounty feast. It was nice to find out that most of the guild was indeed fine. They had been helping other people, healing and rebuilding. The living of Goasse’s stepfather as a fisherman had ended when Loch Modan dried. Hantitia’s parents’ house was destroyed along with the park in Stormwind. Luckily, Titi’s tailoring shop staid unharmed.

There had of course been lots of refugees around, but some of them came from a place that had been isolated until recently, Gilneas. Only, there was something strange with the people of Gilneas. Effex and Hanthelia had already noticed it and so they brought their friends to see for themselves. The Howling Oak in Darnassus served as a refugee center. It didn’t take long for the others to notice that the Gilneans were a little hairier than normal humans…

Lost Order decided to meet again soon, since things were still so up in the air. It’s times like these that you need your friends.

Strange Developments

Lost Order received a report from Ysildiel, who had come across Goasse and Valur. The friends were making their way to Outland, as planned, and Ysildiel noticed that a group was following them. That group was later killed, but Goasse and Valur arrived in Outland safely. Still, it seemed strange to Ysildiel and he came to Ironforge to further explain the situation to the guild. Lost Order had gathered to Ironforge invited by Ymkje, Goasse’s wife.

Effex, Hanea, Shakku and Razzil were surprised by both Ymkje and Ysildiel’s stories. Ymkje was worried about her husband. She hadn’t heard about him in a while, but Ysildiel’s story reassured her a little. However, there was another matter. She had received a letter from Doede, telling Goasse to go to Gnomeregan and meet him there. The letter didn’t tell much more. It was clear to the guild that they would escort Ymkje there and find out what was happening.

They searched for a while, but eventually came across a death knight. He was the mysterious Doede. It seemed that he wanted no harm. He had actually sent the group reported by Ysildiel trying to reach Goasse. Doede wanted to give Goasse an amulet found inside Gnomeregan. It was from his parents. There had been several missions to Gnomeragan in the gnome’s trying to recapture their hometown and in one of those missions, Doede had found the amulet. He was able to figure out, who it had belonged to and track down Goasse. Ymkje received the amulet and was pleased to be able to give it to Goasse.

Defderien’s Tragedy

After not showing up to fish at Loch Modan, Defderien sent a letter to the guild. Effex delivered the letter, which was an invitation to Deffy’s newly acquired cottage in Duskwood. Defderien was still wanting to get re-acquainted with his daughter. He was pleased to see that quite a few members of Lost Order showed up.

Shakku, Effex, Valur, Barwin, Goasse, Aargon and Äisha were offered some boar Deffy had caught and cooked for his guests. Effex brought some wine. Defderien was also pleased to notice how sympathetic his new friends were to his situation. The Losties told him things about his daughter, Hanthelia. He learned that she had become a huntress and that she even had a daughter – Defderien was now a grandfather! Everyone was certain that Hanthy would want to know her father was alive again and that she wouldn’t blame him for the past.

Aargon and Äisha’s story of their reunion gave Defderien hope for the future. Although Äisha wasn’t accepted with the kaldorei either, she seemed quite happy with the current situation of being together with his beloved huband. Defderien had made up his mind. He would contact his daughter. Shakku was going to help to organize this, since the matter was delicate.

Fishing Trip to the Loch

Lost Order wanted to start having their regular fishing trips again and what better place was there to start from than Loch Modan. The friends gathered to Thelsamar and among them was a new friend as well. Ceréne was the sister of Neona and Nephryn. It was actually Nephryn, who had sent her to Thelsamar to meet her there. It was a surprise to Ceréne when Nephryn wasn’t there… But she met with Lost Order instead and was warmly welcomed by Goasse, Valur, Nymira, Hanea, Aargon, Effex and especially Shakku, who was always pleased to meet a pretty night elf.

Ceréne hadn’t actually fished before, so the friends were happy to help her. Hanea showed her how to hold the pole and cast the line and Effex told her about goblin fishing. The friends had a nice change to catch up and get to know their new friend. Goasse and Valur told the others about their plans for a trip to Outland. Valur wanted to try and find some of his relatives. Goasse needed his guild mates’ help, though. Someone had started to follow him and he didn’t want to leave Ymkje on her own. Luckily, the guild treasurer, Rhelen lived in Ironforge as well, so Shakku suggested he’d contact Rhelen and ask if she might want to stay with Ymkje while Goasse was gone. Effex was also going to inform Viridiana about the situation and have her keep an eye on the pair. Vi would be pleased of an assignmet like this.

The evening was pleasant until the friends got a surprise visit. Nandy had mentioned to Shakku that someone wanted to meet with him and that they might be stopping by, but this was not the person they expected. Hanthelia’s godmother, Delaelah, came to warn Shakku. At first, he wasn’t sure what the priestess was talking about, but with the help of Effex, he realised that Hanthy’s father was alive! He had come back and seeked for a reunion with his daughter. However, he wanted to take things slow. Apparently, Defderien had made the mistake of contacting his sister as well… She came to tell Shakku to stay away from her brother. It was obvious that Delaelah blamed humans and Alliance for a lot of things.

After the unpleasant night elf had gone, Effex explained the situation to the others. Especially Aargon felt sympathy for the situation, since his wife had made a similar comeback. Effex left to find Defderien and organise another meeting with the guild. The friends would help the father get reaquinted with her daughter.

Liberating Gnomeregan!

The high-tinker Mekkatorque, king of gnomes, was gathering troops. Finally, it was time to take back Gnomeregan! Goasse asked his friends in Lost order to come and help. Of course, they came. Goasse, Hantitia, Daidalos, Nymira, Nandy and Valur met at the Steelgrill’s Depot, a makeshift training area.

From there they made their way to outside Gnomeregan, where people were waiting for the king to lead them into battle. The anticipation was high. Many had been waiting for this day to come and Goasse was one of them. Others had slightly different reasons for being there, for example Nandy, who was looking forward to, erm, killing gnomes.

They didn’t have to wait for long. The battle was fierce with many troggs and irradiated gnomes as opponents, but the gnomes were victorious. The army made their way into Gnomeregan, where they delt with some of the marshals of Thermaplugg, the current ruler of Gnomeregan.

It was a trap, though. An irrediator was about to explode. Mekkatorque tried to deactivate it, but he wasn’t successful. The army was blown out of Gnomeregan! Goasse was upset about the failure of the mission. His friends comforted him and reminded that this was closest they had gotten to liberating Gnomeregan in a very long time. The gnomes won’t give up and Lost order will be there beside them when the day comes!
